Becoming a member of a local church is one of the most important decisions we make in life. As a result, we at CRC Suffolk provide several forums where you can become informed about the church you are considering. The membership process at CRC Suffolk involves the following:

 

1. Public Declaration

Periodically, we ask that those who have made a decision to make CRC Suffolk their home church to publicly stand in the assembly.

2. New Member’s Orientation

New Member’s Orientation is held prior to enrolling and attending CRC Suffolk’s New Member’s Class. During orientation, information is shared concerning the church’s vision, core values, leadership structure, etc.

3. New Member’s Class

New Member’s Class consists of seven (7) basic Biblical principles taught in an informal environment where there is interaction within the class.

4. Confirmation Service

Confirmation Service is a special service held to confirm (by the laying on of hands), pray for, and strengthen those who have completed New Members Class. At this service, we as a church welcome those who have become members of CRC Suffolk.
